AMARILLO RALLY REPORT

by Brent & Julie Lauderdale, Rally Masters, and Derrel & Kathe Letulle, Co-Rally Masters

WOW!!! For those of you who were not able to attend the 2010 Amarillo Rally, you missed a great time! Just ask any one of the 42 families who attended. The weather "sort of" co-operated but did not hamper any of the activities. From the Pot Luck Dinner on Monday to the Karaoke on Thursday night, laughter and fun was had by all.

50 - 50 for TX Polio Survivors

TECH TIP - SANITIZING YOUR PORTABLE WATER TANK AND SYSTEM
By Brett Wolfe, President Emeritus and Yahoo Discussion Group Moderator

Sanitizing your potable water tank and system and keeping it fresh and safe is the subject ofBrett Wolfe this month's Tech Tip.  He includes a recommendation for using a sediment only filter for incoming water and tips on storing filters.

CATERPILLAR DEALER OF THE MONTH - HOLT CATERPILLAR

Holt CaterpillarHolt Caterpillar has long been a supporter of the CAT RV Club.  We've been hearing good things about the quality of service and pricing at their Austin and San Antonio locations (they also have a location in Fort Worth).  One member spoke of going in for a valve adjustment at a time when they were offering a free PM including oil change, oil and fuel filters, and lube.

We extend our thanks to each of the CAT RV Centers for their support in 2009 and 2010 and ask members to thank CAT RV Center employees personally for their support when you visit for service or parts. It is their financial support that helps keep Club Rally costs
reasonable.

MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
By Danny Quarisa

Danny "Q"What a great rally we had in Amarillo. Fort Amarillo RV Park was great in meeting our needs. A big Thank You to our Rally Masters, Brent & Julie Lauderdale and Derrel & Kathe Letulle, who lined up great entertainment, and the food was awesome. No one left hungry. Brett Wolfe put on two very informative seminars. Thanks Brett!

The ladies enjoyed making greeting cards and learned to etch glass. Thanks you Kathe for teaching the crafts. We had over 100 members at the CAT Business meeting in  Albuquerque. Afterward, we enjoyed pizza and fellowship. I am looking forward to seeing you in Newport and Redmond, Oregon this summer.
